Major General Yahya Rahim Safavi, a senior military advisor to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution announced that the occupation entity has closed 27 of its embassies in the region for fear of reprisal from Iran for the attack on its consulate in Damascus. He also confirmed that Israeli embassies in the region are no longer safe.

During a commemorative ceremony for the martyrs of the attack on the Iranian consulate, General Safavi said that the blood of the martyrs of occupied al-Quds will bring about fundamental changes in regional strategies. He declared that the Resistance front would determine the fate of the region and affirmed its readiness to carry out the "hard retaliation... in the opportune moment."

General Safavi noted that this war will change the security, cultural, and media landscape on a global scale, praising the emergence of protests in over 90 countries worldwide against Israeli crimes. He considered the Israeli occupation's actions as evidence of its failed schemes, as it was unable to achieve its stated objectives in the war, which were to destroy Hamas and liberate the captives.

The military advisor emphasized that Hamas represents an ideal and a higher principle that cannot be destroyed. He stressed that nations strive for the freedom of their land, viewing this tradition as both rational and divine, asserting that the occupation forces are destined for defeat.

Deceitful silence

General Safavi called on the Palestinian Resistance to preserve most of its strength and continue its offensive operations. He affirmed that the outcome of this battle was to defeat the United States and "Israel", leading to the formation of a new Middle East based on resistance.

Safavi noted that the occupation committed all kinds of war crimes, genocide, rape, and famine over the past six months, consistent with its long record of similar crimes over 75 years. He stressed that all these atrocities are supported by the United States and some Western countries, amidst a deceitful silence from certain Arab and non-Arab countries in the region.

He emphasized that the assaults further motivated the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps to fight against the United States and the occupation. He affirmed that the Islamic Republic of Iran has made a covenant with God to continue fighting against injustice, extending assistance wherever Muslims and non-Muslims seek help.

Since the attack on the Iranian consulate in Damascus, the occupation entity has been trying to implement precautionary measures, fearing the expected Iranian response. Iranian threats of a strong retaliation against the aggression continue, with the latest coming from Mohammad Baqer Ghalibaf, the Speaker of the Iranian Shura Council, who affirmed today that "the punishment awaiting the Zionists will be severe and will serve as a lesson."
