The leader of Yemen's Ansar Allah, Sayyed Abdulmalik al-Houthi, backed Iran's actions against "Israel", calling it a boost for Palestine and the region, while condemning the Israeli aggression. He urged Arab and Islamic nations to support Iran and maintain resistance in a speech on Saturday.
The leader of Yemen’s Ansar Allah movement stated that Iran’s success in its ongoing confrontation with the Israeli occupation benefits "the Palestinian cause and the entire region," while expressing Yemen's support for Iran's "True Promise 3" operation against the occupation, affirming that Sana'a "stands in full solidarity to the extent of its capabilities."
In his speech, Sayyed al-Houthi reaffirmed that Yemen's armed forces will continue supporting Gaza and the Palestinian people, waging an "open war" against the Israeli occupation.
An opportunity to deal major blows to 'Israel'
The Ansar Allah leader affirmed that "Israel's" aggression against Iran "will not lead to its collapse," viewing it instead as "an opportunity to inflict major defeats on the occupation, restore the Islamic Republic's standing, and rally the [Muslim] nation against ['Israel's'] arrogance and criminal actions."
He added that Iran remains in a "strong and cohesive position militarily, economically, and socially," with its infrastructure still "robust and unified." Al-Houthi emphasized that the Israeli occupation has "become entangled in its aggression" against the Islamic Republic.
'Israel' was unjustified in its attack
The Ansar Allah leader warned that "Israel's" aggression against Iran poses serious risks for the entire region, stressing there is absolutely no justification for such actions. "Israel's" fabricated pretexts and absurd justifications are utterly unconvincing, characterizing the attack as both brazen and criminal, he asserted.
Sayyed Al-Houthi reiterated that the occupation's repeatedly mentioned plan to "change the face of the Middle East" ultimately means "subjugating the entire region and all its peoples under Israeli control, dominating every aspect of their affairs."
Israeli aggression comes within context of the West targeting Iran
The Ansar Allah leader further explained that the occupation's aggression occurred within the context of the West's schemes against Iran, viewing it as both an independent model supporting the Palestinian cause and as a rising Islamic civilizational power.
He pointed out that the Western nations remain "clearly biased as usual" toward the Israeli occupation, adding that the United States, Britain, France, and the West in general are solely seeking to "contain the Iranian response."
However, if the West fails to contain Iran's response through political pressure and other means, its approach shifts to cooperating with the Israeli occupation in attempts to counter it, the Yemeni leader noted.
The region is in need of deterrence
Sayyed Al-Houthi stressed that all nations in the region must support Iran's stance and recognize it serves their interests, emphasizing the Middle East needs to deter "Israel" and restore a balance of deterrence rather than accept a reality of unchecked violations.
He added that the Israeli entity "routinely violates Arab nations it has incorporated into its expansionist agenda, actively seeking to occupy and dominate them."
Sayyed Al-Houthi also praised the united stance of Arab and Islamic nations condemning "Israel's" aggression against Iran, calling their position a positive and welcome development. He stressed that political and media stances at all levels must unequivocally support the Islamic Republic as the wronged party in this aggression.
He further emphasized, "The crucial point is that all Arab and Islamic regimes must remain steadfast in condemning the Israeli aggression and maintain their position," adding, "They must not yield to American and Western dictates to adopt a different stance, whether secretly or openly."
