Ali Bagheri Kani, the interim Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran, affirmed during a speech at the 19th Meeting of the Asia Cooperation Dialogue (ACD) Ministerial Meeting on Monday Tehran's unwavering support for Palestine, stating that Iran has utilized various multilateral mechanisms to assist in ending Israeli crimes in Gaza.

He reiterated Iran's condemnation of the ongoing Israeli genocide, describing it as a shock to the humanitarian community amid Western inaction over the past eight months.

Elsewhere in his remarks, Bagheri Kani expressed gratitude towards the courageous people of Gaza, condemning "Israel's" policy of apartheid.

He also acknowledged recent efforts by popular Resistance factions to assert their rights and pursue freedom.

Furthermore, Bagheri Kani stated that history shows injustices against the innocent will not go unresolved, affirming Iran's view that Palestine is an integral part of the Islamic world.

"And we stand with all our strength to support our Palestinian brothers," he stressed.

Iran highlights ACD as a platform for Asian cooperation

Regarding the Asian Cooperation Dialogue (ACD), Bagheri Kani highlighted Iran's interest in the forum as a comprehensive mechanism for Asian cooperation, reflecting the readiness of these countries for diversity and inclusivity.

It is worth noting that participants observed a minute of silence in honor of late Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi, late Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian, and their companions, at the beginning of the meeting.

The Asian Cooperation Dialogue (ACD) is an international governmental organization established on June 18, 2002, to promote Asian cooperation across the continent and integrate separate regional organizations such as ASEAN, SAARC, GCC, and ECO.
