Iran is prepared to enhance Iran-Africa economic cooperation by sharing its advancements in healthcare, trade, industry, agriculture, security, and peace with African countries, President Masoud Pezeshkian stated on Sunday during the opening of the Third Iran-Africa Economic Cooperation Conference in Tehran.
Addressing the conference, which brought together First Vice President Mohammad Reza Aref, Minister of Industry Mohammad Atabak, and representatives from over 50 African nations, Pezeshkian emphasized the importance of expanding Iran-Africa trade relations.
Over 700 business representatives from 38 African countries attended the Tehran economic conference, highlighting a growing interest in deeper partnerships.
“We are ready to share with you all the achievements we have made, to share with you what we possess in the areas of healthcare, trade, industry, agriculture, security, peace and tranquility in order to create a world where all people on Earth can coexist in prosperity, security, calm and serenity,” the Iranian president declared.
Stressing the value of collaboration and unity, Pezeshkian advocated for fostering a global environment rooted in health, compassion, freedom, and shared humanity. He called on participants to reject division and resentment in favor of mutual respect and Iranian investment in Africa aimed at building collective prosperity.
“Instead of sowing seeds of hatred and resentment, we must nurture the will and belief of friendship, fraternity and love, travel and trade together, and respect each other’s rights,” Pezeshkian added.
Expressing faith in the power of brotherhood, the Iranian president conveyed his confidence that through joint efforts, a future marked by compassion, mercy, and shared humanity can be built for all people worldwide.
