Iranian Army Chief: Al-Aqsa Flood will hasten the demise of 'Israel'
Brigadier General Mousavi says that if "Israel" was optimistic about its future they would not be perpetrating such brutal crimes.
During a press conference on Thursday, Brigadier General Abdolrahim Mousavi, the Commander-in-Chief of the Iranian Army, said that Operation Al-Aqsa Flood has hastened the deterioration of the Zionist entity.
"The Zionist regime, the killer of children, has entered a stage of [sharp] deterioration after Al-Aqsa Flood," he said.
"What is happening today in Gaza has unveiled the true face of the United States and the Western supporters of the Zionist regime."
He added that this war is evidence that the countries of the region have no choice but to rely on their local capabilities to safeguard their national interests and the dignity of their people. "Iran believes that the victory of the Palestinian people and the demise of Israel [is inevitable]," Mousavi added.
He also argued that if the occupation was optimistic about its future, it would not have perpetrated such brutal crimes.
"We will surely witness the victory of Al-Quds," he said
Failed attempt at propaganda
Faced with increasing existential anxiety, the Israeli forces have been outdoing themselves in brutally targeting civilians and civilian infrastructure while it tries it cover it up with frail propaganda.
The Israeli government has tried to convince the world that the attacks on Gaza's major hospitals are not meant to target doctors, patients, and 10,000 displaced people including children, but to reach the "Hamas military infrastructure beneath them".
This strategy represents the latest phase of the five-week Israeli propaganda which has been failing miserably, as the prevailing global opinion remains that "Israel" is committing war crimes and senselessly murdering civilians.
'Israel' faces mounting global pressure over its war crimes in Gaza
"International humanitarian law does require the protection of hospitals, of patients, and of medical staff," affirmed Australian Foreign Minister Penny Wong.
"Israel's" biggest supporter, US President Joe Biden urged "Israel" on Monday to adopt "less intrusive action" at al-Shifa Hospital, the largest medical facility in Gaza, amid escalating diplomatic and public pressure.
"We don’t want to see hospitals the subject of crossfire," US State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller said at his own Monday briefing. "We want to see the civilians who are sheltering in hospitals, including babies, protected."
