The Iranian army says it will not allow the enemies to harm the Iranian people

The General Staff of the Iranian armed forces warned that any potential miscalculation by the enemies, especially the US and the Israeli occupation, in any place or time will be decisively responded to.

His statement comes on the occasion of Dey 9 Epic, a day in which millions of Iranians held nationwide rallies to pledge allegiance to the Islamic establishment in 2009, as well as the martyrdom anniversary of Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani who was assassinated by the US in Baghdad on January 3, 2020.

The statement considered that the commemoration of the Dey 9 Epic and the martyrdom anniversary of Soleimani are appropriate opportunities to make the people aware of the evil acts of the United States and the Zionist regime.

Touching on the recent riots in the country, the statement indicated that the enemies have resorted to media and cognitive warfare in order to affect youth minds and used the fake pretext of supporting women's rights in a bid to topple the Islamic government through generational, ethnic, and religious gaps to pursue their agenda, but the plot has been nullified by the Iranian people.

The statement stressed that the Iranian armed forces will not allow the enemies to harm the Iranian people, underlining that they will monitor the movements of the enemies, especially the US and the Israeli occupation.

In the same context, the commander of Iran's Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) Navy, Admiral Alireza Tangsiri, affirmed that his country is fully prepared to firmly confront any possible aggression on Iran's waters and soil.
