IRGC Commander Major General Hossein Salami asserted on Sunday that the country remains resolute in the face of escalating regional tensions and external threats.

Speaking at a ceremony honoring Iranian war veterans, Salami declared that the Islamic Republic would not bow to pressure.

“We do not accept humiliation, nor do we believe in submission,” he stressed.

The IRGC commander underscored that Iran is currently engaged in a broad and complex confrontation. “We are in the midst of a full-scale war, yet there is no unrest within the country,” he stated. “Our people stand united, while our enemies, particularly the Zionist regime, are gripped by anxiety.”

Salami firmly declared that any attempt to humiliate the Iranian nation is a futile endeavor, stressing that “defeat does not exist in our vocabulary.” He concluded with a powerful reaffirmation of Iran’s resistance doctrine: “With unwavering faith, iron resolve, and absolute confidence in our path, we have chosen to confront our enemies head-on, and we will emerge victorious.”

Army Ground Forces chief warns of rapid retaliation

In parallel, Brigadier General Kioumars Heidari, Commander of the Iranian Army’s Ground Forces, echoed a stern warning to Tehran’s adversaries, vowing an immediate and forceful response to any hostile act against the country.

“If any threat against Iran is carried out, the source and origin of that threat will be completely destroyed in a fraction of a second,” Heidari stated.

He underscored the heightened state of readiness across Iran’s armed forces, stating, “Our units are closely monitoring enemy movements with fingers on the trigger, fully prepared to act the moment the leadership gives the order.” Any act of aggression or provocation, he warned, will be met with an immediate, precise, and retaliatory strike.

In a similar vein, the IRGC affirmed on Saturday that its forces are fully mobilized and ready to deliver what it described as a “decisive, regret-inducing, and unimaginable response” to any hostile act.

The statement went further, warning that any aggression would provoke a retaliatory strike powerful enough to shift the strategic balance of power.

This, it said, would be to the advantage of the “front of righteousness” and to the detriment of what it called the “Great Satan” — a reference to the United States — and "Israel".

Iranian army vows to crush enemy ambitions at their inception

Marking the anniversary of the liberation of Khorramshahr, the Iranian Army affirmed on Friday that it will respond “firmly” to any threat or act of aggression.

The Army declared that it “will defend this land to the last drop of blood, in the name of Iran’s dignity and honor.”

It stressed its readiness to protect the country’s territorial integrity, independence, and security, asserting that it will “never allow the enemies’ ambitions to be realized."

It is worth noting that Iranians commemorate the liberation of Khorramshahr on May 24 each year. The city had been seized by Iraqi forces on October 26, 1980, and was liberated by Iran in 1982.
