Iranian Defense Minister Mohammad Reza Ashtiani said that Iran's enemies would pay a heavy price.
In a tweet, Ashtiani stressed that Iran's enemies will inevitably face a devastating response and will incur a heavy cost for any stupid and ignorant act.

This situation coincided with the Iranian military maneuvers "Fatehan-e Kheybar" (Conquerors of Kheybar) near the border with Azerbaijan, which were launched yesterday, Friday, in Iran, in the presence of the Commander of the Iranian Army's Ground Forces, Brigadier General Kioumars Heydari, and the General Staff of the Armed Forces.
The 216th and 316th Armor Brigades and Brigade 25, the 11th Artillery Group, the Electronic Warfare Group, and the 433rd Combat Engineering Group took part in the drills, with helicopters providing support fire throughout the war games.
The Commander of the Army's Ground Forces, Brigadier General Kioumars Heydari, explained that the maneuvers aim to improve the ground forces' combat readiness in the region, leaving out details on their time or geographical scope.
