Iranian FM arrives in Beirut with 10 tons of aid for Lebanon

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi arrived in the Lebanese capital, Beirut, on Friday morning, leading a delegation that includes members of parliament and the head of the Iranian Red Crescent Society, to engage with Lebanese officials.
Araghchi is scheduled to meet with Lebanon's caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati and Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri to discuss the latest developments in Lebanon and the regional situation.
Simultaneously, Iran dispatched a shipment of medical supplies to Lebanon, further underscoring its commitment to supporting the nation during these challenging times.

In this context, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmail Baghaei announced that Iran will provide 10 tons of food and medicine to Lebanon as part of its humanitarian aid.
He emphasized that "Iran's is steadfast in its solidarity with the brave people of Lebanon."
"The whole region should recognize the critical situation Lebanon faces and its dire implications for the future of our nations," he said.
