Iranian FM from Doha: Consolidating ties with neighboring countries Iran's priority
Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, Iran's foreign minister, said that improving relations with neighbors, particularly Arab countries, is a top priority in the country's policy.
In a tweet, Amir-Abdollahian said that Iran-Qatar relations are founded on mutual interests, referring to Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi's current visit to Qatar.

He went on to say that improving relations with neighbors, particularly Arab countries is a top priority in Iran's agenda.
Iran extends a hand of goodwill to the countries in the area, he added.
On Monday, Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi arrived in Qatar on a pre-planned visit and was greeted by Qatar's Emir, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.
Contracts in various political, economic, cultural, and sporting spheres were signed by Iranian and Qatari ministries in the presence of the Emir of Qatar and the Iranian President on the first day of the Iranian President's visit to Qatar on Monday.
