In a letter to the Secretary-General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian urged the Organization to condemn the crimes of the Israeli occupation and to play a role in putting an end to the Israeli aggression against the Strip.

Amir-Abdollahian said “The support of the United States and some other Western countries for the Zionist entity paves the way for the continuation of crimes against civilians in Gaza and the violation of international laws,” warning of a major humanitarian catastrophe in the Gaza Strip if international inaction continues.

Iran has recently joined the organization which includes China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, India, and Pakistan.

Iran general threatens US with 'serious strike' if war continues

In the event that the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip does not cease, Iranian Defense Minister Mohammad Reza Ashtiani warned, on Sunday, to launch a "serious strike" on the United States.

According to Tasnim, the brigadier general stated that Iran's advice to the US is to end the war "immediately," and "ensure a ceasefire."

Ashtiani warned that if this is not implemented, the US will "face a serious strike."

Israeli occupation forces (IOF) have murdered with cold blood 9,500 people in the Gaza Strip throughout the 30 days of aggression on the blockaded strip, the Government Media Office in Gaza reported on Saturday.
