Iranian FM urges SCO to condemn Israeli aggression on Gaza, end it
Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, the Iranian Foreign Minister, urges the Shanghai Cooperation Organization to condemn Israeli aggression on Gaza.
In a letter to the Secretary-General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian urged the Organization to condemn the crimes of the Israeli occupation and to play a role in putting an end to the Israeli aggression against the Strip.
Amir-Abdollahian said “The support of the United States and some other Western countries for the Zionist entity paves the way for the continuation of crimes against civilians in Gaza and the violation of international laws,” warning of a major humanitarian catastrophe in the Gaza Strip if international inaction continues.
Iran has recently joined the organization which includes China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, India, and Pakistan.
