In an address during the final session of the second National Congress for Martyrs of Qom Province, the Chief Commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), Major General Hossein Salami, stated that the security, advancement, and dignity of Iran were achieved thanks to its Martyrs.

Salami added that the Martyrs helped create the country's identity.

The Major General stated that the country is facing a big conspiracy by enemies that are angered by the Iranian nation and who are collaborating with some individuals that are being deceived.

The Commander of the IRGC said the United States aims to destabilize and create unrest in a poverty-stricken country due to their sanctions, however, he added that the Iranian people, who are safeguarding their values, will defeat Washington's dreams of dividing the country.

"Today, Islamic Iran is on the verge of becoming a world power and we are moving forward in this direction with unity and integrity," Salami stated.

The nation of the Islamic Republic of Iran will proceed toward thwarting the enemy's plans, the top Commander said.

Last week, Major General Hossein Salami warned that Iran will not leave the enemies’ crimes unanswered.

"The enemies are scared and are on alert for several days and keep sending messages via different countries calling on us not to hit them," stated Salami.

The IRGC commander indicated that the foes are tightening their sanctions on Iran to block the paths ahead of the nation with the aim of hindering its progress, stressing that all these attempts have failed.

On November 9, Iranian Security Minister Esmail Khatib said it became clear in the recent events that the Zionist entity was responsible for implementation, the UK media was responsible for sponsoring, and Saudi Arabia was responsible for financial support.

In the same context, Iranian Interior Minister Ahmad Vahidi revealed that the leaders of the recent riots in Iran received training in seven countries.

It is noteworthy that in late October, the Iranian Intelligence Ministry and the IRGC's intelligence wing revealed that intelligence obtained by Tehran indicates that the CIA and allied intelligence services planned a conspiracy against the Islamic Republic.
