In a recent exclusive interview for Al Mayadeen, Iran's First Vice President, Mohammad Reza Aref, articulated the nation's stance on foreign threats, asserting that while Iran remains patient and does not seek war, it is prepared to react decisively to any acts of aggression.

Aref stressed that the country’s forthcoming responses would be "crushing and devastating," underlining Iran's commitment to safeguarding its sovereignty against even the most minor provocations from its adversaries.

He noted that Iran has "shown patience toward the Zionist entity thus far," referencing the loss of "great fighters like the martyr Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah."

The Iranian Vice President called on those he accused of instigating occupation in the region to think critically and stop their harmful actions that support the occupation.

Earlier today, the deputy chief of the Iranian Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC), Brigadier General Ali Fadavi, issued a stern warning to "Israel", stating that any misstep by the entity would endanger its very existence.

In an exclusive interview for Al Mayadeen, Fadavi said, “If the occupying entity makes a mistake, we will target all its energy sources, including power stations, refineries, and gas fields.”

He emphasized the contrast between Iran and the Israeli entity, pointing out that while Iran is a large country with many economic centers, "Israel" is limited to just three power stations and a few refineries.

Fadavi asserted that Iran has the capability to strike all of these targets simultaneously.

In a related context, Commander-in-Chief of the Islamic Republic of Iran Army, Major General Abdolrahim Mousavi, told Al Mayadeen that "Israel" will face a severe and devastating response for any reckless actions.

"We have exercised restraint and patience in the past, but we are ready to deliver a precise and devastating strike at the appropriate time," he added.

He emphasized that Iran would respond with greater force if its enemies make any misstep, as it did when it launched missile strikes against "Israel" in retaliation for the assassinations of Hezbollah Secretary-General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, Hamas Political Bureau Chief Ismail Haniyeh, and General Abbas Nilforooshan, the Deputy Commander for Operations of Iran's Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC).

Resistance in the region will not retreat: Sayyed Khamenei

During the Friday sermon at the Mosalla Mosque in Tehran where the memorial service for Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah and his martyred companions was held, the leader of the Islamic Revolution and the Islamic Republic of Iran Sayyed Ali Khamenei began by honoring Sayyed Nasrallah, with a heartfelt tribute.

In his Friday Prayers sermon, the first he has led in years, he said, "I saw it fit to honor my brother, my pride, the popular figure of the Islamic world, and the shining pearl of Lebanon, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, during Tehran's Friday prayers," adding, "We are all saddened and grief-stricken by this great loss, but our mourning does not mean that we must be depressed, or feel hopelessness."

Sayyed Khamenei emphasized that Sayyed Nasrallah was a brave defender of the oppressed, and a support for freedom fighters, a leader "whose popularity went far beyond the borders of Lebanon, Iran, and Arab countries."

He added that Hezbollah and its martyred leader are the essence of Lebanon's Resistance, "[an essence] we came to know through the graces it offered," highlighting that Hezbollah and its martyred leader have taken a vital step for peace for the entire region through their defense of Gaza.

Sayyed Khamenei also stated, "Sayyed Nasrallah has led a difficult struggle for 30 years, and under his leadership, Hezbollah has grown step by step... Hezbollah truly is a blessed tree."

The Iranian leader stated that the West has concluded that the entity has not achieved victory at all against Hamas and Hezbollah.

Operation True Promise 2

Regarding the recent Iranian operation, Sayyed Khamenei emphasized that “Operation True Promise 2 is a remarkable step by our armed forces, fully justified and entirely within the bounds of legality and legitimacy.”

He stressed that what Iran did is the minimum punishment that must be dealt to the Zionist entity for its horrible crimes, adding that Iran will not waver in fulfilling its duty. "We will not delay, act impulsively, rush, or fall short in our responsibilities."
