Iraq condemns, denounces Israeli aggression against Gaza
The spokesperson for the Iraqi Foreign Ministry, Ahmed Al-Sahhaf, points out that the Israeli aggression on Gaza will only result in unresolvable escalation.
The spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ahmed al-Sahhaf condemned, on Saturday, the Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip. Al-Sahhaf, said in a statement, that "Iraq expresses its condemnation and denunciation of the Zionist aggression, which targeted various areas in the Gaza Strip, and resulted in the death of a number of Palestinian citizens, including a little girl, and the injury of others."
Al-Sahhaf added that "the language of violence adopted by the Zionist entity foretells further tensions and perpetuates a climate of hostility," stressing that "this will only lead to an escalation and aggravate the situation without reaching any solution."
On Friday, the Al-Quds Brigades began an operation in response to the Israeli occupation's aggression on the Gaza Strip, with rocket salvoes against the occupied Palestinian territories.
Earlier today, Al-Quds Brigades announced the bombing of Ben Gurion Airport, in addition to other areas in Tel Aviv, Ashdod, Beersheba, Ashkelon, Netivot, and Sderot, with 361 missiles in response to the ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza.
The Israeli occupation had announced the start of a military operation against targets of the "Islamic Jihad" movement in the Gaza Strip. Al Mayadeen correspondent in Gaza spoke of 15 martyrs and dozens wounded in the Israeli aggression on the Strip.
Yesterday, the Palestinian resistance factions have started responding to the Israeli occupation's aggression on the Gaza Strip by launching salvoes of rockets toward the occupied Palestinian territories.
The Israeli aggression left several martyrs, including a 5-year-old girl, and at least 125 critically wounded, revealed Al Mayadeen correspondent according to Palestinian medical sources.
