Iraq Coordination Framework intensifies discussions to contain crisis
Iraq's Coordination Framework stresses the continuation of dialogue with the political forces to reach a solution.
The Coordination Framework in Iraq decided to intensify its discussions with other political forces to contain the ongoing political crisis in the country.
In a statement, the framework affirmed "the unity of its directions in achieving the people's interests, protecting the national unity, and continuing the dialogue with the political forces to reach a solution that leads the country beyond this critical juncture."
The statement added that the framework discussed the recent meeting between Hadi Al-Amiri and Muqtada Al-Sadr and its positive outcomes, and urged the intensification of meetings and dialogues between political parties in the country.
A few days ago, the Iraqi Coordination Framework announced that it will proceed with the objection to the Federal Court to address the major imbalance in Iraqi Parliament's first session.
Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported that the framework studied the option of boycotting the political process or resorting to opposition.
Tension prevails in Iraq amid the objection of the forces and factions affiliated with the Coordination Framework to the parliamentary elections' results, stressing that they are "rigged", leading to popular demonstrations in Iraqi provinces.
It is noteworthy that the coordinating framework includes the State of Law coalition, the State Forces Alliance, the Al-Nasr Alliance, the Al-Fatah Alliance, the Ataa Movement, and the Virtue Party.
