In this context, the National Media Observatory head Khaled Al-Saray said that "the problem with the Sadrist movement is that it is trying to confiscate everyone's decision," adding, "We must reach an understanding to the fact that there is no alternative to dialogue."

Al-Saray affirmed, "since 2003 we have faced a scheme to stir up division within the Shiite component," noting that "the Sadrist movement made a strategic mistake by withdrawing from parliament."

In turn, a member of the State of Law coalition, Alaa Al-Hadadi, explained that "the main demand for these demonstrations is the preservation of legitimacy and constitution."

The Coordination Framework in Iraq stressed on Wednesday the importance of expediting the process of naming a presidential candidate and the formation of a service government that addresses the crises in the country.

The Framework said in a statement that a number of political issues were discussed in the meeting, foremost of which is the course of the ongoing talks with the rest of the national forces in order to complete constitutional obligations, decide on the presidential candidate, and form a government that addresses the citizens' services and security issues.

Earlier this month, the Iraqi Coordination Framework called on the Iraqi people to demonstrate peacefully "to defend their state."

Meanwhile, the leader of the Sadrist movement in Iraq, Muqtada Al-Sadr, called on Iraqis to support the demonstrators in the Green Zone in the capital, Baghdad.

This came after supporters of the Iraqi Sadrist Movement stormed the Iraqi parliament in the Green Zone, Baghdad, Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported, noting that the Sadrist Movement itself was organizing the entry of protestors into the Green Zone.

Demonstrators were protesting the Coordination Framework's nomination for Prime Minister Mohammad Shiya Al-Sudani, who was nominated for this position by the Coordination Framework.

Last May, Al-Sadr announced that his parliamentary bloc had not succeeded in forming a national majority government, declaring the bloc's transformation into "the opposition seats and giving way to other parliamentary blocs to form a government."
