Various Iraqi parties condemn Baghdad airport shelling
The head of the security office in the Iraqi Hezbollah Brigades and the coordination framework condemn the attack on Baghdad airport while considering it a "terrorist act."
Abu Ali Al-Askari, the head of the security office in the Iraq Hezbollah Brigades, announced that reshuffling policy with the latest targeting Baghdad airport, will not work.
Al-Askari added that "the leaders of the security services and the Popular Mobilization must reveal the mercenaries who bombed the airport and those who are behind them," noting that "the repeated hostilities against the security services are supported by great leaders in the government."
For its part, the coordination framework in Iraq condemned the targeting of Baghdad airport and considered it a "terrorist act intended to stir up strife." The framework called on all national forces to unite and diverge from the policy of exclusion and hiding behind foreign powers.
the Secretary-General of Asa'ib Ahl al-Haq, Qais Khazali, confirmed that "the refusal to target diplomatic missions and airports in Iraq is the subject of agreement among all political forces."
On the level of official reactions, the Iraqi Prime Minister, Mustafa Al-Kadhimi, described the targeting of Baghdad International Airport as a "cowardly terrorist act, which revealed the criminals' insistence on striking the security, obligations, and capabilities of the Iraqi people and endangering their interests."

Al-Kadhimi vowed to the implementers a "decisive response", considering that targeting the airport "represents a new attempt to undermine Iraq's reputation, which we have striven to restore regionally and internationally, endangering international aviation standards at Iraqi airports, and spreading an atmosphere of doubts about internal security."
Earlier today, Baghdad International Airport was targeted with at least six missiles, an Iraqi security source told Sputnik. "At least six rockets were shot down and fell near the runway," the source said.
The attack took place at 04:30 local time (01:30 GMT).
Iraqi media quoted a security official as saying that several aircraft were damaged as a result of the bombing, pointing out that the C-RAM anti-missile defense system intercepted a number of missiles.
It is noteworthy that on January 13, the US Embassy in Baghdad was targeted with three missiles, leaving two people wounded, an Iraqi security source confirmed.
