Iraqi Resistance: US attacks on Yemen demand end of American presence
Factions of the Islamic Resistance in Iraq have reaffirmed their support to Yemen and the Yemeni people, indicating their readiness to take action.
A number of factions in the Iraqi Resistance condemned the American-British aggression on Yemen, praising the Yemeni people and their armed forces for their commitment to supporting the Palestinian people.
Notably, factions that operate under the banner of the Islamic Resistance in Iraq made separate statements, expressing their support for Yemen.
Kataib Hezbollah said the Yemeni people's commitment to their national interests and steadfastness has placed them in the crosshairs of the United States for years now. According to the party, the Yemeni people faced a genocidal war, similar to what is happening today in Gaza, but they have emerged victorious with great strength and resilience, championing the Palestinian people by targeting the Israeli occupation.
In a statement published on their Telegram channel, Kataib Hezbollah stated that the US and Britain do not realize the extent of their folly, in both attacking Yemen and supporting the Israeli occupation's crimes in Gaza. The consequences of this have been underestimated by the two imperialist powers.
They added that assassinations and bombing campaigns would not deter the Axis of Resistance from persisting with its operations, fulfilling its duty to defend the Palestinian people. As such, the party promised that the Axis would continue to undermine their enemies militarily, security-wise, and economically until weakening their influence and driving them out of West Asia.
Finally, the group emphasized its support to its counterparts in the Axis of Resistance, especially in Yemen, and its readiness to adopt any decision made by the Iraqi people and leadership.

The US: A regional nuisance
Other factions such as Kataib Sayyed al-Shuhada in Iraq and al-Nujaba Movement put out their own statements in support of the Yemeni Armed Forces and the Yemeni people.
Kataib Sayyed al-Shuhada affirmed that the US-UK-led aggression on Yemen has increased the masses' solidarity with the Axis of Resistance and the legitimacy of its cause.
They highlighted the criminal policies of the Israeli occupation and the US in the region that necessitate ongoing confrontations aimed at ending their presence since the two entities have disturbed "stability and security in the Middle East."
In a related context, al-Nujaba Movement emphasized that the United States, along with its coalition members, has placed itself within the firing range of the entire Axis of Resistance. They further stated that the safety of American and coalition interests in the region is no longer assured.

A detrimental mistake
On Thursday overnight, US Air Forces Central Command announced in a press release that airstrikes in Yemen targeted over 60 sites associated with the Ansar Allah movement across 16 locations.
"At the direction of US Central Command, US Air Forces Central, CENTCOM’s Joint and Combined Air Component Command, executed deliberate strikes on over 60 targets at 16 Iranian-backed Houthi militant locations, including command and control nodes, munitions depots, launching systems, production facilities, and air defense radar systems," the release said late Thursday night.
The aggression spurred outrage all over the region, both on official and popular levels, where social media outlets saw substantial solidarity with the Yemeni people, who endured the backlash of their support to Palestine.
Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Nasser Kanaani affirmed that the "arbitrary attacks will have no result other than fueling insecurity and instability in the region," saying that the action stands as a clear violation of the country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as international laws.
Hezbollah strongly condemned "the savage American-British aggression against the brotherly nation of Yemen, its security and sovereignty, and its free and honorable people."
Various Palestinian factions, including Hamas, the Palestinian Islamic Jihad, the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), and al-Mujahideen Movement among others condemned the aggression and shed light on the leading Yemeni role in supporting the Palestinian people.
