Iraqi Resistance warns US of response to 'foolishness' in Iraq, Axis
The Resistance group cautions that the United States is increasing its forces in Iraq despite claiming it is discussing exit plans with Baghdad.
The Islamic Resistance in Iraq cautioned on Friday that the United States has increased the number of forces in the country despite earlier claims that it will negotiate with Baghdad an end to its mission in Iraq, which indicates that the US has no intentions of leaving.
In a statement, the group said that the US changing the labels under which its forces operate in the country is meaningless as long as it continues to breach Iraq's sovereignty and control its security decisions.

Regional tensions have been rising for almost two weeks following the Israeli strike on Iran's consulate in Syria, which resulted in the martyrdom of seven IRGC senior officials, including the chief of al-Quds Force in Syria and Lebanon, Brigadier General Mohammad Reza Zahedi, and his deputy Brigadier General Mohammad-Hadi Haji-Rahimi.
Iran has vowed to respond to the crime, with most probable scenarios including a direct attack on the entity. "Israel" said that any direct strike against it would be met with an attack "targeting Iran". Meanwhile, Washington announced that it would defend the occupation and stated that its commitment to support its ally is "ironclad."

The Islamic Resistance declared that it would "directly respond" in the event of any "foolishness" committed in Iraq or any country of the Axis of Resistance in that context, vowing that it would target US forces "wherever it can reach them."
After conducting operations for several months against US occupation bases in Syria and sites in Iraq in support of Gaza and in response to the Israeli genocide in the Strip, the Islamic Resistance announced in February that it would suspend its attacks on US forces. This decision came in response to a request from Baghdad, which cited ongoing negotiations with the United States to withdraw its forces from Iraq, despite several recent aggressions on Iraq, killing a number of Iraqi citizens.
But discussions between the US and Baghdad made no breakthroughs yet and are reportedly being stalled by Washington.
Meanwhile, the Iraqi Resistance has only escalated its operations against "Israel" since then.
