The Resistance group confirms that rockets launched hit their target.
The Islamic Resistance in Iraq declared on Sunday targeting the US occupation base in Syria's Conoco gas field with a rocket barrage, in response to the ongoing Israeli brutal war on the people in Gaza.
In a statement, the group confirmed a direct hit to the military base, reiterating its commitment to carry out strikes "against enemy strongholds."
Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported earlier that at least four rockets struck the inside of the base, which was followed by columns of smoke. He added that US helicopters were directly dispatched to the site's vicinity.

Our correspondent had reported on Sunday morning that the Iraqi Resistance targeted the Ain al-Assad US base in Iraq.
The group has consistently emphasized its commitment to targeting the US occupation due to Washington's support for the Israeli occupation and its significant role in the ongoing aggression against Gaza.
Since the commencement of operations in October, US military bases across Syria and Iraq have been targeted with over 120 attacks.
In the past week, the Islamic Resistance announced conducting several separate operations against US occupation bases, most recently on Sunday targeting the Harir US airbase in Iraqi Kurdistan's Erbil.
Additionally, just in the past 24 hours, at least four operations targeting Israeli sites were carried out by the faction.
Late Saturday, the Islamic Resistance announced launching two separate attacks on Israeli targets, one in "Eilat" (occupied Umm al-Rashash) and another in Syrian-occupied Golan. Both were carried out using appropriate weapons.
This comes as the Palestinian Health Ministry announced on Sunday the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip has resulted so far in nearly 22,000 martyrs, including at least 9,000 children.
