Ireland calls for review of EU-'Israel' deal over Gaza genocide
The plea comes in the aftermath of a brutal Israeli massacre targeting displaced families in al-Tabieen School in Gaza City, which killed and maimed hundreds of innocent civilians.
Irish Prime Minister Simon Harris has encouraged the European Union to review its partnership agreement with "Israel" in light of the continuous human rights violations against people in Gaza and other parts of occupied Palestine.
His plea comes in the aftermath of the brutal Israeli massacre targeting displaced families in the al-Tabieen School in Gaza City, which killed and maimed hundreds of innocent civilians.
Al Mayadeen's correspondent in the Gaza Strip reported Sunday that the al-Tabieen school massacre in Gaza City carried out by Israeli occupation forces at dawn on Saturday has been deemed the deadliest atrocity in northern Gaza since the al-Maamadani Hospital massacre.
Our correspondent reported that only 75 of the victims from the massacre have been identified, while many remains belong to unidentified individuals. Due to the horrible condition of the remains, paramedics have resorted to estimating that every 70 kilograms of remains counts for one martyr.
"We have all been horrified by the many undoubted war crimes that have been committed in Gaza. There can be no impunity. Those responsible must be held to account," Harris affirmed.
He further stated that he was "particularly disturbed" by the United Nations' declaration that the amount of humanitarian supplies to Gaza has been cut in half, from an average of 169 trucks per day in April to fewer than 80 trucks per day in June and July.
The Irish Times quoted the PM calling the images coming out of the massacre "gut-wrenching", adding that Ireland "condemns outright such awful and wholesale loss of civilian life."
Harris pointed to the UN assessing that more than 80% of Gaza has been placed under evacuation orders since October, expressing that "when people are told to leave, they have nowhere to go, so they often go to schools," reiterating the necessity for a ceasefire.
In addition, he stated that the International Court of Justice's directives, which called for an end to the "illegal" occupation of the Gaza Strip, must be fully executed.
"Too many innocent lives have been lost in 10 months," he maintained.
As world condemns massacre, US cites concern, awaits culprit's probe
After "Israel" committed a horrendous massacre during the early hours of Saturday, nothing remained of the scene but bloodied body bags and devastation.
Meanwhile, the US cited "deep concern" as US National Security Council spokesperson Sean Savett stated that the US was "asking for further details" and that the administration was "deeply concerned about reports of civilian casualties in Gaza."
He stated that the strike, which has generated international outrage, "underscores the urgency of a ceasefire and hostage deal, which we continue to work tirelessly to achieve."
As usual, the IOF claimed that the deadly strike targeted senior Hamas officials despite the images and footage showing scores of bloodied children and body bags.

As the world condemns the massacre, the US continues to stand by the Israeli occupation with full-fledged moral and economic support and only asks for meager details rather than denouncing the occupation for its blatant aggression against civilians.
"We are in touch with our Israeli counterparts, who have said they targeted senior Hamas officials, and we are asking for further details," he reported.
Savett repeated Israeli claims of Hamas operating from civilian schools and reiterated, "We have also said repeatedly and consistently that Israel must take measures to minimize civilian harm," adding that far too many civilians have been killed.
Izzat al-Rishq, a member of the Hamas Political Bureau, accused on Saturday the Israeli occupation forces of fabricating baseless excuses to justify their attacks on civilians, schools, hospitals, and displaced persons' tents, affirming that there were no Resistance fighters inside the al-Tabieen school.
The Israeli occupation military claimed that it killed at least 19 Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad fighters who were operating from a command and control center located in the school.
It also claimed that the strike "was carried out using three precise munitions," adding that "no severe damage was caused to the compound."
Al-Rishq, however, asserted that all Resistance factions strictly adhere to a policy of avoiding civilian areas to prevent them from becoming targets of Israeli aggression.
The Hamas official dismissed the Israeli claims that measures were taken to minimize civilian casualties through the use of smart weapons, pointing out that all martyrs and dozens of injured were civilians, with not a single fighter present among them.
"If these are smart US weapons and kill all this number of civilians, this shows the extent of the stupidity of this army and its leaders, and that its weapons are (dumb) weapons, not smart," al-Rishq further added.
