IRGC commander congratulates Lebanon, Hezbollah SG on victory
Major General Salami said that Hezbollah was able to force the Israeli regime into a ceasefire and defeat its "diabolical goals."
The Commander-in-Chief of the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) Major General Hossein Salami issued a message congratulating the Secretary-General of the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon - Hezbollah Sheikh Naim Qassem, early on Thursday.
Pointing to the ceasefire implemented on Wednesday morning, the IRGC commander said that the implementation of the deal has brought a "strategic and humiliating defeat" upon the Israeli occupation.
"The ceasefire on the Lebanese front is a strategic and humiliating defeat for the Zionist regime," Salami underlined.
Salami said that Hezbollah was able to defeat the Israeli regime's "diabolical goals on the northern front," effectively forcing a ceasefire upon the occupying entity.

"To Your Excellency, the noble government and nation of Lebanon, especially the zealous and brave warriors, I congratulate the heroic Hezbollah," he stated.
Salami underscored that this victory was achieved via the blood of the martyrs who fell in battle, the patience of supporters of the Resistance in Lebanon, and the bravery and sacrifices of Hezbollah's fighters. He also highlighted Hezbollah's pivotal and decisive role in the region's long-standing struggle against the Israeli regime,
The IRGC commander said that the strategic failure inflicted upon the Israeli occupation, via the ceasefire, can also facilitate "the beginning of the ceasefire and the end of the war on Gaza."
"We humbly salute the glorious and history-making patience and Resistance of the Lebanese nation and the lofty spirit of the martyrs Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah and Sayyed Hashem Safieddine and other commanders of Lebanon's Hezbollah," the top IRGC commander added.
"By God's grace, together with the aware nation of Iran, we support the Islamic Resistance of Palestine and Lebanon, and we will not give up any efforts in this holy path," Salami concluded.
