Today, Wednesday, the Iranian Revolution’s Guards unveiled the long-range strategic missile "Kheibar-Shekan" as the latest strategic Iranian weapon produced by the IRGC’s aerospace force.

Mehr News Agency reported that on the occasion of the 43rd anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution, the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, Major-General Muhammad Bagheri, unveiled the homegrown long-range strategic missile "Kheibar-Shekan ".

The strategic missile is one of the long-range missiles of the Islamic Revolution’s Guard Corps, which enjoys unique features.

This rocket uses solid fuel. Its optimal design has reduced its weight by one-third compared to similar samples, and its preparation and firing time has been reduced by one-sixth.

Among its capabilities are extreme agility and speed in hitting targets within a range of 1,450 km.

The homegrown missile has been designed and built by scientists of the Air Force of the Islamic Revolution's Guard Corps.
