IRGC announced the arrest of arms smugglers' cells
IRGC raids rioters' headquarters and arrests 15 individuals linked to hostile channels planning to carry out destabilizing operations.
The Intelligence of the Islamic Revolution's Guards Corps (IRGC) announced the discovery of a headquarters for rioters and the arrest of a cell consisting of 15 individuals in the Fardis city of ​​​​Alborz province.
"The cell is linked to hostile entities and is implementing agendas to stir up unrest and destabilize security," the IRGC Intelligence announced in a statement.
In another statement, the IRGC in Bushehr province announced thwarting an armed cell southwest of Khuzestan Province.
According to the statement: "two members of this cell were smuggling weapons and ammunition using a truck and a boat."

A couple of days ago, the Department of Public Relations of the Ministry of Security in the province of Sistan and Baluchestan announced that one of the members of the cell behind the assassination of Mowlavi Abdulvahed Rigi, a Sunni cleric, and preacher of Imam Hussein Mosque in the city of Khash, was linked to an Arab country.
According to an official statement, the same cell had planned to assassinate another individual once the situation calmed down.
Similarly, the Iranian authorities published on Tuesday the confessions of members of a terrorist group that tried to plant an explosive device in one of the streets of the city of Shiraz prior to the funeral ceremony for the martyrs of the Shah-e-Cheragh shrine.
It is noteworthy that this operation was thwarted by the IRGC in the Maali Abad area, in the city of Shiraz. The bomb was discovered by the IRGC before it was planted by the terrorists.
