Iron Dome, Israeli security, in Hezbollah crosshairs: Israeli media
According to the newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth, the IOF is bracing for the prospect of powerful missiles, as well as swarms of kamikaze drones.
Hezbollah's actions in recent months, particularly over the weekend, according to the Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth, show the power of the precision weapons it accumulated since the 2006 war as well as the arrangement of its "calculated priorities" in choosing its targets.
The Israeli newspaper confirmed that the Plasan plant targeted in the Sa'sa' settlement by Hezbollah produces armor for IOF vehicles as well as foreign armies.
Hezbollah has targeted major defense companies in the North, including the David Institute in Kiryat Yam, which is part of the Israeli Rafael firm, and other sites in the upper al-Jalil area that produce weapons.
Northern occupied territories house important development facilities to support the occupation's military sector. Locations of critical sites like Elbit of Rafael systems are publicly available online, making them simple targets. Since they are critical for "Israel", they continue to operate despite the threat, and they are to continue operations even if Hezbollah fires a swarm of drones at the occupation.
These northern facilities design and build a variety of missiles for the Air Force and ground troops, smart bombs, reconnaissance and attack drones, and active security systems (including the Trophy system for armored vehicles). The publication supposes that Hezbollah targets these installations with its most important weapons, which it has gathered over the previous decade but has yet to use: hundreds of precise missiles with warheads capable of delivering up to a metric ton of explosives.
The IOF believes Hezbollah also has Russian Yakhont cruise missiles, which are primarily designed to attack coastal or marine installations such as Israeli gas facilities and the Haifa naval facility. The Yakhont has a range of several hundred kilometers, which includes the Ashdod port and the surrounding naval facility. Over the last decade, international media has reported many incidents of the IOF attacking alleged Yakhont stockpiles in Lebanon and Syria.
According to the newspaper, the IOF is bracing for the prospect of powerful missiles- as well as swarms of kamikaze drones. Air force sites are preparing for potential attacks, particularly air defense facilities like the Iron Dome, Arrow, and David's Sling batteries, which are anticipated to be significant targets in any large-scale precision strike by the Lebanese Resistance.
The newspaper adds that an Israeli response may target what is presumed to be the majority of Hezbollah's rocket, missile, and drone stocks as was attempted in the second Lebanon war which focused on Fajr rockets. The effectiveness of a comparable operation in the summer of 2024 will be determined by Israeli intelligence and Hezbollah's ability to conceal and defend these stocks and launchers throughout Lebanon.
According to Yedioth Ahronoth, some of these strategic facilities, such as power plants and security factories, have protected themselves in recent years with layers of reinforced concrete to ensure operational continuity and reduce damage.
These installations and industries are crucial to the IOF's armament supply, particularly in the case of further international isolation of "Israel".
Fires ignite as Hezbollah lands 150 drones, rockets in north Palestine
According to Israeli media, 15 fires have broken out in northern occupied Palestine due to missiles launched from Lebanon.
Israeli media described how a joint attack with drones and missiles continued for half an hour against military targets in northern Palestine.
Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported on Wednesday morning that a massive barrage of rockets was fired on the northern region, stressing that "the rocket barrages that were fired from Lebanon are the largest in terms of rocket type and number since the beginning of the war."

Simultaneously, Israeli media reported that Hezbollah fired a massive 160-rocket barrage at northern "Israel" and launched a direct attack on Rafael Advanced Defense Systems, a military research and development company. Following the attack, towns within 10 kilometers of the Lebanese border were directed to take shelter and remain indoors, as per Israeli media.
Our correspondent added that the massive rocket barrage, which he said well exceeded the 100 being reported by Israeli media, was fired at Israeli military targets and continued for 10 minutes straight.
Israeli media confirmed direct damage to one of the buildings in Kibbutz Yaroun in the north, in addition to the outbreak of 15 fires in the occupied Golan and upper al-Jalil area following missile launches.
Rockets also fell in the Rosh Pinna and Shamir settlements area and a direct hit was recorded in Safad, where schools received instructions to halt academic activities.
Israeli media also reported several casualties in the Katzrin settlement in the occupied Golan after rocket fire from Lebanon.
