'Israel' aggressed against Syria, killed 4, wounded 1
Israeli aggression targets the Syrian Golan, killing Syrian soldiers.
A Syrian military source told Syria's official state agency, SANA, that the Israeli occupation carried out an airborne aggression from over the Mediterranean Sea towards Banyas in the Golan Heights, hitting targets in the central and coastal regions.
Syrian air defenses intercepted the Israeli missiles, and Damascus announced that the aggression resulted in the deaths of 4 soldiers, in addition to the wounding of another, and material damage.
Last week, an Israeli aggression killed two Syrian army soldiers and wounded three others in the central Homs province.
SANA confirmed that the Syrian air defenses intercepted "hostile targets over the southeastern Homs province," downing "several of them."
Citing a military source, the news agency indicated that the strikes hit the Shayrat military airport, inflicting casualties and material damage.
It is noteworthy that the Israeli occupation targeted the same airport on November 8, 2021, wounding two Syrian soldiers, according to Syrian state media.
