“Israel” has never been placed on the UN’s blacklist which aims to shame regimes into implementing child-protection measures, despite its brutal violations of human rights and international laws on daily basis.

UN chief Antonio Guterres revealed in the annual “Children and Armed Conflict” report, released on Monday, that the Israeli occupation forces murdered 78 Palestinian children, maimed another 982, and detained 637 in 2021.

A year has passed since the Israeli aggression on #Gaza.

“Should the situation repeat itself in 2022, without meaningful improvement, Israel should be listed [on the blacklist],” Guterres warned in the report.

It is worth noting that “Israel” has never been placed on the UN’s blacklist despite ongoing violations of human rights and international laws on daily basis.

The United Nations published the "List of Shame," also known as the "Black List," in 2002, which includes organizations and countries that violate the rights of children in conflict zones around the world, in its annual report on children and armed conflict.

The new report also verified that around 19,000 children suffered in 2021 from "grave violations" in 21 countries, including four Arab countries (Syria due to the presence of foreign military occupation forces and mercenaries, Yemen as a result of the continued Saudi aggression, Somalia, and occupied Palestine).

Other violations the report covered indicated at least 2,425 girls and 13,663 boys were victims of verified violations which included abductions, sexual violence, school, and hospital attacks, and denial of aid during conflicts.
