'Israel' strikes Syria Army in Deir Ezzor amid SDF-Arab tribes clashes
The aggression comes at a time when Deir Ezzor is witnessing frequent clashes between the US-backed Kurdish militant group, the Syrian Democratic Forces SDF, and Arab tribes.
Two Syrian soldiers were injured in the late hours of Monday in an Israeli air aggression on Deir Ezzor province in eastern Syria, state news agency SANA reported.
A military source told the news agency that around 11:50 pm Monday, the Israeli occupation carried out an aerial attack on some of the posts of the Syrian armed forces in the vicinity of Deir Ezzor city, adding that the strike resulted in the injuries of two soldiers and caused some material losses.
The aggression comes at a time when Deir Ezzor is witnessing frequent clashes between the US-backed Kurdish militant group, the Syrian Democratic Forces SDF, and Arab tribes.
Syria has been able to regain control to the West of the Euphrates River in the province after years of falling under U.S.-backed terrorist groups, while east of the river today lies under SDF's control backed by U.S. troops and bases.

On September 13, the Israeli military, in a rare occurrence, targeted Syria in two separate attacks during the same day.
The first strike targeted the province of Tartus just hours before Israeli war jets carried out the second aggression targeting Homs Governorate in central Syria launched from off the coast of Lebanon.
Despite continued calls for the international community to address the situation, Syria has been left in the cold, with only regional allies to rely on for military support to repel foreign aggression.
On August 31, Iran's Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian said that these attacks against Syria would not go unanswered.
