'Israel' bombs Syria's Homs from Lebanon's coasts
The Israeli occupation waged a new round of aggression on Syria, the second in one day, while violating both Syria and Lebanon's sovereignty.
The Homs Governorate in central Syria was shelled with Israeli missiles, an Al Mayadeen correspondent reported Wednesday.
Our correspondent said Israeli missiles violated Lebanon's airspace after being launched from planes flying off the coast of Lebanon towards Homs Governorate in central Syria.

The Syrian Ministry of Defense said earlier in the day that an Israeli missile strike in the province of Tartus, Syria, led to the deaths of two Syrian soldiers and injuries to six more.
"Today at 17:22 [local time, 14:22 GMT], the Israeli enemy committed an act of aggression firing missiles from the direction of the Mediterranean Sea, striking some positions of our air defense systems in Tartus. As a result of the aggression, two soldiers were killed, six more were injured, and some material damage was caused," the statement read.

As part of "Israel's" continued efforts to destabilize the region, Syria is frequently the target of such aggressions.
Despite continued calls for the international community to address the situation, Syria has been left in the cold, with only regional allies to rely on for military support.
On August 31, Iran's Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian said that these attacks against Syria would not go unanswered.
