Israeli bases in occupied Golan, US bases in Deir Ezzor bombed
A US occupation base in Syria was being shelled from Iraqi territory, local sources told Al Mayadeen on Sunday, which led to explosions, though no information has thus far been reported about the casualties.
Explosions were reported to have been heard in northeastern Deir Ezzor in the Al-Omar oil field, which is occupied by the US, as international coalition aircraft were circling the area.
Sources confirmed to Al Mayadeen that the US occupation base came under attack, leading to explosions inside the base. The sources added that the sounds of explosions were heard in surrounding areas. It is worth noting that the base was the target of several attacks recently.
