The daily statistical report on casualties from Israeli attacks in Gaza shows that 17 Palestinians were killed and 71 were injured over the past day, the Ministry of Health in Gaza announced, as the ceasefire agreement went into effect.

Emergency responders continue to face significant challenges, with many victims still trapped under rubble or stranded on streets, as ambulance and civil defense teams are unable to reach them.

Since the Israeli aggression was launched on October 7, 2023, 67,211 Palestinians have been martyred, and 169,961 have been injured across the Gaza Strip. From March 18, 2025, to October 10, 2025, Israeli attacks have resulted in 13,598 deaths and 57,849 injuries.

The report also included casualties among those killed while trying to secure basic necessities, including food and water. Over the past 24 hours, no deaths and five injuries were recorded among this group. Since the conflict began, the total number of martyrs seeking aid, who were transferred to hospitals, has reached 2,615 killed and more than 19,182 injured.

Its attempt to move two of the babies was obstructed on Thursday amid an ongoing Israeli military assault on the city, but the children have since been reunited with their parents.

"We had 18 babies in incubators at the beginning of week. Two got moved yesterday," UNICEF spokesperson Ricardo Pires told a Geneva press briefing, saying the others are waiting in incubators for Israeli security clearance.

"I hope this is just an example of what will come after the ceasefire is fully implemented," he said.

Displaced Palestinians return to Gaza City

Following the recent ceasefire agreement between the Palestinian Resistance and "Israel", displaced Palestinians have begun returning to parts of Gaza City and surrounding neighborhoods. The truce includes Israeli withdrawals from several areas of the Strip and a framework for detainees and captives exchanges.

While international mediators, including the US and UN, welcomed the pause in hostilities, sporadic Israeli assaults continue to pose risks for returning residents. Hundreds of thousands were forced to flee their homes during intensified Israeli military operations, leaving entire neighborhoods damaged or destroyed.

Returnees are confronting extensive destruction, with many homes, streets, and public infrastructure heavily damaged. Water, electricity, and sanitation services remain largely unavailable, forcing some families to set up makeshift shelters. Additionally, hospitals and clinics continue to operate at limited capacity or remain non-operational after being systematically targeted by Israeli occupation forces.
