BREAKING
Sheikh Qassem: Our supporters make up more than half of Lebanon's population, and all of these people are united under the banner of protecting Lebanon, its Resistance, its people, and its integrity.
Sheikh Qassem: There will be no phased handing in of our arms. [The Israelis] must first enact the agreement before we start talking about a defensive strategy.
Sheikh Qassem: Be brave in the face of foreign pressures, and we will be by your side in this stance.
Sheikh Qassem: Stripping us of our arms is like stripping us of our very soul, and this will prompt us to show them our might.
Sheikh Qassem: We will not abandon our arms, for they gave us dignity; we will not abandon our arms, for they protect us against our enemy.
Sheikh Qassem: The US efforts we are seeing are aimed at sabotaging Lebanon and constitute a call for sedition.
Sheikh Qassem: If you truly want to establish sovereignty and work for Lebanon’s interests, then stop the aggression.
Sheikh Qassem: The United States, which is meddling in Lebanon, is not trustworthy but rather poses a danger to it.
Sheikh Qassem: The United States is preventing the weapons that protect the homeland.
Sheikh Qassem: The government’s latest decision [on the disarmament of the Resistance] is non-charter-based, and if the government continues down this path, it is not faithful to Lebanon’s sovereignty.

On the 184th day of the genocide in the Gaza Strip, the Israeli occupation's warplanes and artillery are targeting various areas in the sector, focusing on homes in the cities of Khan Younis and Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip.

More Palestinians were martyred and injured in the Gaza Strip early on Sunday in a series of airstrikes by Israeli warplanes and artillery shelling. The attacks focused on the cities of Khan Younis and Rafah, located in the southern Gaza Strip.

After the Israeli occupation targeted al-Istiqamah Mosque, in Rafah city, two Palestinians were injured as they were located in a home adjacent to it.

Moreover, Israeli occupation aircraft launched intensive airstrikes on the Zanna and Bani Suhaila areas east of Khan Younis, killing and injuring several Palestinians.

It is important to note that the Zanna area is where the Palestinian Resistance ambushed Israeli occupation soldiers yesterday after the latter claimed, months ago, to have cleared and destroyed Resistance capabilities there.

Israeli occupation warplanes also carried out multiple airstrikes on various areas west of Khan Younis city in southern Gaza Strip last night.

Furthermore in Khan Younis, the occupation forces targeted a group of civilians west of the Turkish slaughterhouse, resulting in casualties. This occurred concurrently with the Israeli occupation's artillery shelling of wide areas south and west of the city.

Additionally, local sources reported that the occupation forces targeted wide areas in Beit Hanoun and the Qleibo area north of Gaza. This was accompanied by artillery shelling on the Zaytoun neighbourhood east of Gaza City and the southern neighbourhoods of the city.

Al Mayadeen's correspondent in Gaza reported Saturday that the Palestinian Resistance factions, especially al-Qassam Brigades are engaging in a "heroic saga" in the city of Khan Younis amid reports in Israeli media about a "tough incident".

Our correspondent mentioned that the Israeli occupation forces faced two heavy incidents in Khan Younis: the first in the al-Zanna area west of the city, and the second in the al-Amal neighborhood to its east.

He noted that rescue operations carried out by the Israeli forces following the al-Zanna ambush were later concealed by missile launches and intense shelling in that area.

Al Mayadeen's correspondent confirmed that at least three Israeli military helicopters landed east of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip to transfer the bodies of the killed and wounded soldiers.

Regarding the al-Amal neighbourhood west of Khan Younis, our correspondent recalled that the Israeli occupation military had raided the neighbourhood weeks ago before withdrawing and returning again.

He added that on Saturday, five Israeli troops were killed and injured in an ambush in the neighbourhood.

Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Hamas movement, announced that six Israeli soldiers were killed and others injured after being targeted in an ambush in the al-Zanna area east of Khan Younis in southern Gaza.

Detailing the ambush, al-Qassam said it started when its Resistance fighters engaged three Merkava tanks with al-Yassin 105 shells. Later, when Israeli rescue forces rushed to the location where a booby trap was set, Resistance fighters detonated three anti-personnel explosive devices.

Al-Qassam fighters also attacked Israeli rescue forces and troops who fled the area and sheltered in one of the surrounding houses with an anti-personnel device, inflicting casualties and injuries among their ranks.
