Palestinian youth injured, six detained during raids in al-Khalil

One Palestinian youth was injured by Israeli occupation forces at dawn on Saturday, and six others, including two women, were detained from various areas of the al-Khalil Governorate in the West Bank.

In detail, WAFA reported, citing local and security sources, that the youth was moderately injured in the thigh by live Israeli gunfire near his home in the village of Tabqa in the town of Dura, southwest of al-Khalil. They also detained Anis Abdul-Wadud Ghaith from the city of al-Khalil and Israa Khamayseh from the town of Taffuh, to the west, after raiding their homes and vandalizing their contents.

As part of their continued aggression, Israeli occupation forces set up several military checkpoints at the entrances to al-Khalil and its towns and camps, closing main and side roads with iron gates, concrete blocks, and earth mounds, impeding Palestinian movement.

Child assaulted, detained by IOF near Beit Lahm

The IOF detained a 17-year-old Palestinian boy on Saturday after assaulting him in the village of al-Dawha, west of Beit Lahm, according to local security sources.

The sources told WAFA that soldiers chased Ramez Ismail al-Maghribi, a resident of the nearby Dheisheh refugee camp, while he was riding his bicycle in the village. After catching him, they beat him severely before detaining him.

Israeli troops had earlier stormed several neighborhoods in the town and were seen patrolling throughout the area.

IOF kill 25-year-old Palestinian during raid on Jenin

Just yesterday, Israeli occupation forces shot and killed a 25-year-old Palestinian youth and injured a teenager on Friday night during a military raid on the city of Jenin, in the occupied West Bank, according to the Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS).

The PRCS reported that its medical crews transferred the body of the slain youth after he was shot in the abdomen and neck by live Israeli fire.

Local sources said that an Israeli military unit raided multiple neighborhoods in Jenin, opened fire on residents, and killed the Palestinian youth, whom the Ministry of Health later identified as Mohammad Adnan Salameh, aged 25.

During the same raid, a 15-year-old child sustained injuries from live bullet shrapnel in the lower extremities near the Cinema Roundabout. He was evacuated to the hospital by Red Crescent crews.
