Israeli aggression targets Syria's al-Qusayr region, injures civilians
Significant damage and two injuries have been recorded after violent Israeli raids targeted al-Qusayr in Syria's Homs province.
Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported that an Israeli attack targeted the al-Qusayr area in the southwestern countryside of Homs in Syria.
The attack targeted the al-Hawz Bridge and the Joubanieh Bridge in the southwestern countryside of Homs, as well as the Hadour, Matraba, and al-Hosh crossings near the border with Lebanon, as reported by Al Mayadeen.
In a statement, the Syrian Ministry of Defense announced that around 9:00 p.m. on Monday, the Israeli occupation launched an airstrike from Lebanese territory, targeting border crossings previously struck along the Syrian-Lebanese border in the al-Qusayr area in the Homs countryside. The attack resulted in injuries to two civilians and caused material damage.
Earlier this week, "Israel" carried out yet another aggression on Syria, this time targeting Tadmor, mainly striking residential buildings and resulting in scores of fatalities and injuries.
At least 36 people were killed and 50 others were injured as the Israeli military launched an aerial aggression from the direction of the al-Tanf area, targeting a number of buildings in the city of Tadmor in the Syrian desert, a military source revealed.
"At approximately 1:30 pm today, the Israeli enemy launched an aerial attack from the direction of the al-Tanf area, targeting a number of buildings in the city of Palmyra in the Syrian desert, which led to the martyrdom of 36 people, the injury of more than 50 others, and massive material damage to the targeted buildings and the surrounding area," the source said.
