The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced on Thursday the martyrdom of a citizen in a raid carried out by the Israeli occupation using a drone, targeting a vehicle on the Arnoun-Yahmur road, in the south of the country.

Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported several attacks carried out by Israeli occupation forces on Thursday in various areas of southern Lebanon. Our correspondent additionally confirmed that the occupation targeted the southern highlands of the town of Shebaa with 11 artillery shells, as Israeli forces fired machine gun bursts from the "Radar" outpost toward the outskirts of the town.

Additionally, our correspondent reported that an Israeli Skylark drone fell in the Alman al-Shoumariya in Marjayoun. Previously, on May 14, the Lebanese National News Agency reported that "a technical malfunction in an enemy Israeli drone led to its crash this morning and its explosion in a house in the town of Shebaa, Hasbaya District."

Two brothers martyred in Israeli aggression on South Lebanon

Since the ceasefire took effect on November 27, 2024, Israeli forces have persistently violated the agreement, launching attacks on Lebanese villages in the south and the Bekaa, assaulting Beirut’s southern outskirts, and refusing to withdraw from five occupied positions along the southern border.

On May 14, an Israeli drone launched two missiles at a car on Wednesday morning at the entrance of Wadi al-Hujayr in the vicinity of the town of Qaqaiyat al-Jisr in the Nabatieh district, causing it to catch fire.

The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced on May 8 that one person was martyred and eight others were injured as a result of Israeli airstrikes on Nabatieh.

Earlier the same morning, Israeli warplanes unleashed a wave of strikes on southern Lebanon, striking the Nabatieh district with over 20 air raids. Our correspondent reported that the Israeli fire barrage targeted Nabatieh al-Fawqa, Kfar Tebnit, and Kfarrouman.

"Israel" has violated the ceasefire agreement with Lebanon thousands of times since it went into effect on November 27, 2024, violating Lebanese airspace, bombing Lebanese villages in the south and the Bekaa, attacking Beirut's Southern Suburb, and maintaining its occupation of five locations in the south.
