An Israeli airstrike targeted a multistory building in the southern suburb of Lebanon's capital, Beirut, early on Tuesday, Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported.
A preliminary death toll reported by the Lebanese Ministry of Health revealed that four citizens, including a woman, were martyred and six others were injured as a result of the strike.
The strike came with no previous warning from "Israel" and instead was executed based on information issued by the Israeli Shin Bet internal intelligence agency.
Although the Israeli occupation's military and Shin Bet claimed their strike targeted a senior Hezbollah figure, Al Mayadeen's sources confirm that one of the victims of the strikes was a regular party member, not a leader.

Second strike on Beirut's suburb comes with no warning
Since November 27, 2024, the Israeli occupation has committed hundreds of ceasefire violations against Lebanon. Yet, only one had involved an airstrike on Beirut’s southern suburb—until now.
That strike was conducted during the afternoon hours of March 28, 2025, and saw several warning strikes before a raid was conducted on yet another multistory building.
France's President Emmanuel Macron, whose government is a major guarantor of the ceasefire agreement, condemned the Israeli airstrike on Friday during a joint press conference with the Lebanese President Joseph Aoun.
Macron said that the airstrike was "unacceptable", emphasizing that it constituted a violation of the ceasefire agreement that France sponsored.
He stated, "There is no activity that justifies such strikes," adding that "It is an absolute necessity that the framework that we defined, and that was agreed to by Lebanon and Israel, is duly respected. Today, it was unilaterally not respected by Israel."
Meanwhile, the Lebanese president denounced "Israel's" actions, saying, "We condemn any attack on Lebanon and any suspicious attempt to drag Lebanon back into the cycle of violence," calling on "Lebanon's friends to move fast to prevent the situation from worsening and aiding Lebanon in applying international agreements."
