Israeli Ambassador to Bahrain: Saudis following up closely our relations with Bahrain
Israeli media say the Israeli Ambassador to Bahrain indicated Saudi interest in the consolidation of relations between "Israel" and Bahrain.
Israeli media quoted the Israeli Ambassador to Bahrain, Eitan Naih, as saying that the Saudis are closely following the progress of increasingly closer relations with Bahrain, adding, "I believe we will witness more exciting ties in the future - not necessarily with Saudi Arabia only."
The Israeli occupation Prime Minister, Naftali Bennett, arrived in Bahrain on Monday evening on an official visit. His visit marks the first visit by an Israeli Prime minister to Bahrain, since the normalization agreement signed by Manama and Abu Dhabi with "Israel" in September 2020.
Last month, Israeli media reported that Isaac Herzog, the Israeli President, landed in Abu Dhabi after crossing the Saudi airspace to the Emirates.
It is noteworthy that the Saudi writer and researcher Najat Al-Saeed recently announced her visit to "Israel" and wrote in a tweet that she felt "at home".
The Israeli media also commented on an investigation published by the New York Times regarding the emergency talks between Bin Salman and Netanyahu regarding Pegasus, accusing "Israel" of exploiting the program to advance its foreign relations.
In November 2018, the Israeli newspaper Haaretz published a lengthy report on the spyware company and its work with Saudi Arabia.
The security cooperation between "Tel Aviv" and Riyadh has become clear over the past years, especially after Mohammed bin Salman received the mandate of the covenant through the NSO company.
