Israeli army losing, facing ongoing problems during Gaza truce: Media
The Israeli channel Kan says the "reorganization of the Israeli military in Gaza is still under construction, and the rules are not yet entirely clear."
Israeli media suggested that "from a practical standpoint, the Israeli army is losing," adding that "there are ongoing problems facing the [Israeli] forces in Gaza during the truce."
The Israeli channel Kan pointed out that the "reorganization of the Israeli military in Gaza is still under construction, and the rules are not yet entirely clear," noting that there won't be 12,000 Israeli soldiers left in Gaza, as the army will reduce this number.
The report mentioned that Israeli occupation forces are attempting to prevent the movement of Palestinian residents from the southern part of the Gaza Strip to the north, and there are entire units working on this mission, indicating that "it is obvious that they will not succeed in stopping all these movements."
Elsewhere, the Kan report added that "it is clear that Hamas will try to destroy what the Israeli army has done so far, and Israel has taken this into account and realized that there is a price for a truce."
On Friday, Israeli media said that anyone who mourned Hamas simply had to see this day; after 49 days of fighting "Hamas has proven that it remains strong and in control of Gaza."
Al-Qassam Brigades succeeded in imposing a truce in the south and north of the Gaza Strip, Israeli media said, indicating that Hamas' armed wing knew how and when to bring the captives it held to the Khan Younis Hospital.
Hamas did not kneel in the face of the Israeli occupation forces' onslaught, Israeli media said. "This reality is still very far-fetched, unfortunately."
"If Hamas succeeds in stopping the fighting from continuing, then it has officially emerged victorious," Israeli reserve general Israel Ziv declared.
A four-day humanitarian truce went into effect in Gaza at 7 am (GMT+2) Friday after a deal was reached between the Israeli occupation and Hamas on the matter following an Israeli aggression that has persisted for 47 days, leaving tens of thousands injured, killed, and displaced.
Earlier on Friday, the Al-Qassam Brigades and the Palestinian Resistance factions in Gaza freed 39 female and underage male prisoners from Israeli occupation prisons, as part of the first batch of the truce agreement and the prisoner exchange deal, which will continue for four days.
