Israeli occupation forces arrested a number of Palestinian youths in occupied al-Quds and across the West Bank during raids since dawn today, which targeted at least 30 Palestinians mainly in the governorates of al-Khalil, Qalqilya, Ramallah, Jenin, Areeha, and Salfit, according to the Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs Commission and the Prisoners Club.

The two authorities explained that the arrests were accompanied by abuse, severe beatings, field investigations, and threats against detainees and their families, in addition to widespread sabotage and ransacking of citizens’ homes.

In occupied al-Quds, an Israeli force stormed Qalandia camp and deployed Israeli snipers on the roofs of some buildings. Meanwhile, Palestinian youth Ammar Yasser Mutair was detained.

The occupation forces also carried out a detention campaign and field investigations in the town targeting a number of Palestinian youths.

Sources explained that Palestinian youths confronted the Israeli soldiers in the area, who fired sound and gas bombs, which led to a number of them suffocating, while the occupation forces prevented ambulances from tending to the injured.

Israeli occupation forces simultaneously stormed the city of Areeha, east of the West Bank, from several axes, as well as the towns of Surif and Beit Ummar, north of the city of al-Khalil, and the town of Bani Naim, to the east, amid Palestinian Resistance.
