The leader of the Ansar Allah movement in Yemen, Sayyed Abdul Malik al-Houthi, strongly condemned the recent Israeli aggression on Sanaa that led to the martyrdom of the Yemeni prime minister and several civilian officials.
In a televised speech eulogizing the martyrs, al-Houthi stated that “the crime of targeting ministers and civilian workers adds to the Israeli enemy's criminal record in the region,” emphasizing that all those martyred were engaged in non-military, civilian fields.
Offering his condolences to the families of the martyrs, their colleagues, and the Yemeni people, he affirmed that the aggression would only strengthen Yemen’s determination.
On Saturday, the Yemeni presidency announced that an Israeli strike on Thursday had killed Prime Minister Ahmad al-Rahawi alongside ministers of the government.

Israeli crimes across the region
Al-Houthi recalled that this latest attack is part of a broader pattern of aggression, saying, “This enemy's record is one of terrible and horrific crimes, killing the people of Palestine, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, and Iran.” He denounced the brutality of the Israeli enemy, stating that it “proves its criminality through practices that defy all ethical and legal boundaries.”
He emphasized that such crimes highlight the importance of Yemen’s firm and ethical stance against "Israel", grounded in values, humanity, and unwavering principles.
Resistance as a religious and national duty
Al-Houthi declared that the Yemeni people view their resistance as a form of jihad, saying, “Our people have taken this position as a jihad in the path of God and in pursuit of His pleasure,” adding that sacrifice in this cause only strengthens the people's resolve and resilience.
He stressed that Yemenis “have committed themselves from day one to sacrifice for the sake of God,” arguing that the nation's true interest lies in resisting domination and rejecting “the Zionist plan that targets the entire nation.”
He underlined that “the real losses are for those who have accepted the equation of subjugation and submission to the enemy,” reiterating that Yemen's resistance movement remains firm in its course.
Gaza and the Palestinian cause still central
Reaffirming the unshakable position of Yemen towards Palestine, al-Houthi declared: “Yemen's position towards the Palestinian people is firm and cannot be reversed. Our people say to the Palestinian people: We are with you and we support you.”
He further stressed that “the military path in targeting the Israeli enemy, whether with missiles, drones, or a naval blockade, is continuous and unwavering,” describing it as part of a broader sacred battle encompassing military, political, economic, media, and security dimensions.
Yemen’s message to the region
Al-Houthi praised the role of the Yemeni people, noting that “our dear people, men, women, children, old and young, are taking a great stance in the context of this great situation.” He said that the mass mobilization across Yemen reflects both awareness and deep faith, undeterred by enemy attacks.
He also lauded the efforts of Yemen’s security services in thwarting infiltration attempts and protecting the home front, highlighting “very important successes” and indicating that greater achievements lie ahead.
Concluding his address, Sayyed Abdul Malik al-Houthi emphasized that “the Yemeni people's position in this battle is very strong, sufficient in that they are at the height of their religious pride and do not live in the shame experienced by those who are weak, desperate, and resigned.”
