Al Mayadeen’s correspondent reported that an Israeli drone targeted a motorcycle in the southern Lebanese town of Aitaroun, injuring two people, a woman and a municipal police officer.
According to the correspondent, the drone fired two missiles during the strike.
Part of ongoing aggression against southern Lebanon
The attack is part of a series of repeated Israeli assaults on southern Lebanon, frequently targeting civilians and property as the aggression along the southern border continues.
Earlier, Israeli artillery shelled the Hermon Hill area on the outskirts of the town of Yaroun in southern Lebanon, in another round of strikes on border regions.
Continued violations of Lebanese sovereignty
"Israel" continues its violations of Lebanon’s sovereignty and security, with recent incidents including artillery and drone attacks on multiple areas in the south.
On Wednesday, Al Mayadeen's correspondent in southern Lebanon reported that an Israeli drone launched two missiles at a car on the Hadatha-Haris road, which led to the martyrdom of one person in the town.

The Health Ministry had also stated earlier in the day that "an Israeli enemy drone strike on a motorcycle last night in the town of Zebqine, in the Tyre district, lightly wounded two people."
Since the ceasefire began on November 27, 2024, "Israel" has violated Lebanon's sovereignty over 3,500 times, yet the Lebanese government has simultaneously ramped up pressure to end Hezbollah's military autonomy.
Under intense US backing, the government has tasked the Lebanese Army with formulating a plan to centralize arms under state control by year-end and recently approved the objectives of a US-backed roadmap to disarm Hezbollah.
Hezbollah has unequivocally rejected these measures and insists that disarmament will only occur once "Israel" withdraws from occupied Lebanese territories and halts its attacks.
