Five Palestinians were killed during the Israeli occupation's aggression on the Tubas Governorate in the occupied West Bank, including four in Tamun, confirmed the governor of Tubas, Ahmad al-Asaad, on Wednesday.
Israeli occupation forces launched a large-scale military operation early Wednesday morning in Tubas and Tamun in the West Bank amid intense confrontations with Palestinian Resistance fighters and drone strikes on the area.
Al-Asaad said the occupation forces are withholding the bodies of the five martyrs, who were killed after being targeted by gunfire and shelling.
The Resistance met the Israeli aggression by targeting military vehicles with improvised explosive devices (IEDs) in the al-Wad area of Tubas, damaging one vehicle.
The al-Qassam Brigades in Tubas said in a statement that its fighters, along with other Resistance factions, are engaged in fierce confrontations with the occupation forces that stormed the city.

In the same context, the Israeli Channel 7 highlighted that for the first time, the Israeli military attacked Palestinians in Tubas using a Zik-type drone, also known as Elbit Hermes 450.
Ongoing Israeli raids and assaults
In addition, Israeli occupation forces also raided several other towns and cities in the occupied West Bank, including the town of Dayr al-Ghusun north of Tulkarm, the Shahin Square area, Khillat Yassin, and the al-Qara'an neighborhood in the city of Qalqilya in the northern West Bank.
On Tuesday evening, 17-year-old Palestinian teenager Shadi Wissam Shehadah was martyred after succumbing to wounds sustained by Israeli occupation forces' gunfire in the town of Anata, east of occupied al-Quds.
The al-Quds Governorate Media Department stated that Israeli snipers inside the Pisgat Ze'ev settlement opened fire at Shehadah for allegedly hurling stones at the occupation soldiers.
Another Palestinian youth, Moataz Sarsour, was also martyred on Tuesday morning after succumbing to injuries inflicted by Israeli occupation forces during a raid on the cities of Ramallah and al-Bireh.
Local media sources reported that Sarsour, who hailed from the al-Amari refugee camp, was critically wounded by Israeli gunfire to the chest. He was transported to the Palestine Medical Complex, where doctors later pronounced him dead.
The occupied West Bank has been witnessing escalating confrontations since the start of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, with its towns and cities subjected to daily raids by settlers and occupation forces, including widespread detainment campaigns, resulting in martyrs and injuries.
