The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) have killed the engineer Ihab Rabhi al-Ghussein, the Undersecretary of the Palestinian Ministry of Labor in the Gaza Strip.

The Government Media Office in Gaza announced the martyrdom of Al-Ghussein in a statement, explaining he was killed after being struck by an Israeli airstrike west of the city, elaborating on his role in the government and his career, citing his work in many different governmental and national positions.

The martyr had a "career full of sacrifices and honorable positions, as he was an example of loyalty and dedication in his work and service to our Palestinian people."

The government media office divulged that al-Ghussein would join his wife and daughter, who were killed by the IOF in a previous house bombing in West Gaza.

According to the statement, "the death of government officials will not deter us from performing our national duty towards our Palestinian people, and continuing our moral and professional role to serve them and support their steadfastness and perseverance in the face of this brutal aggression."

Resistance factions mourn the martyr Al-Ghussein

The Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, confirmed that the martyr "died after 275 days of aggression and genocidal war against our people, which he spent carrying his religious and national responsibility, serving his people despite the danger looming over him, as his family was not spared from the aggression.

The movement continued, in a statement, that the martyr continued his work despite the targeting of his family, as "his will was not broken, and he did not stop for a moment from continuing to serve our people in his honorable national position" adding that he set a great example of defiance and resilience in the face of injustice and aggression of the occupation.

Hamas confirmed that his death would not undermine the Palestinian people or break the government system that shares with its people the suffering of war and the danger of aggression.

The Resistance Committees in Palestine mourned the martyr and noted that the IOF is trying to assassinate all figures who serve the Palestinian people and support their steadfastness.

The statement also confirmed that the will of the people will not be broken but his martyrdom will only increase steadfastness, strength, and determination to continue on the path of the martyrs until "Israel" is uprooted.

IOF bombs school sheltering displaced people

In its ongoing onslaught against Gaza and continuous bombing of schools sheltering the displaced Palestinians in Gaza, the IOF targeted the Holy Family school west of Gaza.

The Civil Defense in Gaza announced retrieving 4 martyrs from the school that sheltered hundreds of displaced people. The death toll is likely to rise.

Israeli occupation forces committed on Saturday a new massacre in the Nuseirat refugee camp, in the central Gaza Strip, targeting a school belonging to the United Nations Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) that was sheltering displaced people, the Ministry of Health in Gaza confirmed.

The Gaza Government Media Office announced that this is the 43rd massacre that the Israeli occupation forces committed in the Nuseirat camp, which resulted in the killing of 16 Palestinians and the injury of 75 others, who were transported to the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital.

The Media Office mentioned that the Israeli occupation warplanes bombed the al-Jaouni school on Saturday afternoon, highlighting that the school was sheltering around 7,000 displaced people.

'Israel' kills Palestinian detainees from Gaza after their release

Al-Mayadeen's correspondent confirmed on Sunday that the IOF committed the horrific crime of killing 3 Palestinian freed prisoners while they were still handcuffed, only minutes after their release from the Karam Abu Salem crossing, east of Rafah.

Palestinian sources stated that civil defense received 3 martyrs from the crossing on Sunday morning, with their hands still tied. "They were targeted immediately after their release."

Palestinian captives were murdered and many others were injured on Saturday after being struck with an artillery round in eastern Rafah, southern Gaza Strip, hours after being released by the Israeli occupation, Anadolu Agency reported.

Among those released was a survivor who informed Anadolu that the Israeli occupation freed about 15 Palestinians who were detained days ago while securing aid trucks.

“We were workers securing aid trucks and were arrested four days ago in the Gaza airport area, east of Rafah, while awaiting their arrival, the survivor who spoke on condition of anonymity narrated.

He explained that when they reached the main road in Rafah, the IOF "fired a shell at us, resulting in the deaths and injuries of approximately seven individuals. The other workers fled the area.”

Describing their treatment while imprisoned, he explained how the IOF "subjected us to physical torture and humiliation, throwing us on the ground, walking over our bodies, and even urinating on us."
