Israeli forces ravage Nablus market in West Bank
Israeli occupation forces raid Nablush and Ramallah, arresting at least five Palestinians.
Israeli occupation forces raided Nablus, in the occupied West Bank, early on Monday, focusing their efforts on Joseph's Tomb to the east of the city.
The Palestinian Islamic Jihad's (PIJ) al-Quds Brigades - Nablus Brigade announced that its fighters confronted the occupation forces that invaded the area. Local Resistance fighters fired their automatic weapons at the invading forces. The brigades said that fighters from the nearby Balata refugee camp set off an improvised explosive device (IED) on occupation forces, confirming a direct hit to the targeted force.
Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades - Youth of Revenge and Liberation unit said that its fighters confronted Israeli occupation forces in eastern Nablus and the Balata camp.
The Palestinian Red Crescent said that emergency workers treated four journalists who had suffocated as a result of tear gas fired by occupation forces in their direction.
Moreover, Israeli occupation forces burnt a section of the local market in Nablus, after throwing a number of blazing tires into the area.

In the administrative capital of the occupied West Bank, Ramallah, Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported that Israeli occupation forces raided the city and nearby towns, arresting several Palestinian citizens.
Local media reported that occupation forces detained five Palestinians, including Zein Zein al-Din, Abu Khalil Qandil, Bilal Qandil, Baraa Jaraba', and Abu Hamam Jaraba'.
Israeli occupation forces are intensifying their attacks on Palestinian cities and towns in the occupied West Bank, as a recent drone strikes campaign killed nine Palestinians in Tulkarm. Increased crimes following 10 months of a brutal Israeli campaign against natives in the West Bank, aiming to apply "maximum pressure" policies against Palestinians, to limit the occupied territory's solidarity with the Gaza Strip.
Moreover, the recent Israeli attacks come against the backdrop of the Israeli assassination of Hamas leader martyr Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran, Iran. The incident saw wide-ranging protests and demonstrations across the world, including the West Bank.
On Sunday morning, two Israeli settlers were killed and three others injured in a stabbing operation on Moshe Dayan Street in the Holon area, south of Tel Aviv.
Israeli media further reported that the individual who carried out the attack did not have a permit to enter the occupied territories. According to Israeli reports, he is from Salfit in the occupied West Bank, lacked an entry permit, and had no prior security-related offenses. The operation was praised by Palestinian Resistance factions, as the Gaza Strip continues to fend off an unprecedented Israeli war that has resulted in tens of thousands of casualties.
