Israeli forces suffer multiple casualties, fatalities across Gaza

The Al-Quds Brigades reported the downing of an Israeli reconnaissance drone in northeastern Al-Bureij, central Gaza Strip.

Palestinian forces on Sunday reported targeting multiple Israeli positions stationed throughout the Gaza Strip, resulting in direct fatalities and material losses inflicted on Israeli troops.

Footage of a drone operation targeting an Israeli military outpost in the east of Beit Hanoun in northern Gaza was released earlier in the day by the Qassam Brigades.

These operations demonstrate that Israeli claims of complete control or withdrawal from certain areas in the North are either inaccurate or incomplete, Resistance sources said.

The Resistance further announced that its fighters successfully eliminated an Israeli soldier using sniper fire south of the Tal Al-Hawa neighborhood in Gaza City.

Meanwhile, in Jabalia camp, the Mujahideen Brigades confirmed targeting a gathering of Israeli troops using short-range missiles.

In the early hours of Sunday, Al-Qassam Brigades reported the detonation of a pre-rigged house, targeting an Israeli foot patrol unit in Bani Suhaila, Khan Yunis, in the southern Gaza Strip. The operation resulted in multiple casualties, the Resistance said, noting that the Israeli army suffered one fatality.

In Bani Suhaila, Khan Yunis, the Resistance reported that one Israeli servicemember from the engineering corps was killed by a gunshot to the head, they further reported.

The Al-Quds Brigades, on their part, reported the downing of an Israeli reconnaissance drone in northeastern Al-Bureij, central Gaza Strip.

Meanwhile, the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades reported intense clashes with Israeli forces in the direction of the Zaytoun neighborhood. They further reported targeting a gathering of Israeli soldiers on Street 10 south of the neighborhood.

The Brigades also reported targeting Israeli troops and their vehicles using a barrage of heavy-caliber mortar shells in the Western direction of Khan Yunis. A Merkava tank was reportedly downed using RPG shells in this operation.

In related news, the Israeli army acknowledged the loss of an additional servicemember among its invading forces, namely Sergeant Mikhail Gal, from the Givati Brigade.

As of today, the Israeli army officially acknowledges the deaths of 590 officers and soldiers in its ranks since October 7, 2023, including 248 who were killed in ground battles.
