Israeli occupation aircraft struck areas in eastern and southern Lebanon, late on Thursday, marking yet another set of blatant violations of the ceasefire agreement.
Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported that several areas in the Bekaa region of Eastern Lebanon were targeted by Israeli strikes. The outskirts of Kfoura, Wadi al-Zahrani, and the town of al-Khraybeh were struck by Israeli forces.
Lebanon's National News Agency (NNA) reported that Israeli occupation forces carried out another set of airstrikes, targeting the towns of Houmine, Roumein, and Zefta in Southern Lebanon. The NNA also said that two strikes targeted the valley located between the towns of Bfaroueh and Azza, in the Nabatieh district.
Israeli fighter jets also violated Lebanese airspace and conducted flights over Rashaya, Western Bekaa, the city of Hermel, Northern Bekaa, and Lebanon's capital Beirut.
These violations coincide with Israeli occupation forces' continued presence in Lebanese border villages, despite the original deadline for their withdrawal ending on January 27. The ceasefire agreement was later extended until February 18, however, Israeli violation of the agreement persists.
