Israeli Herzog security to be enhanced in Bahrain: Israeli Media
Israeli media say that after the increase in the popular calls to cancel the Israeli occupation president's visit to Bahrain, they are going "to enhance Herzog's presidential security."
Israeli media reported on Saturday the increase of publications calling on the authorities in Bahrain to cancel the visit of Israeli occupation President Isaac Herzog, scheduled for tomorrow, Sunday, to the capital Manama.
"Herzog's visit to Bahrain is scheduled to take place tomorrow, and as the date of the visit approaches, criticism of him on social media in Bahrain is increasing," the Israeli Zaman website said.

"After the increased publications calling on the authorities in Bahrain to cancel Herzog's visit and the threats against him, it was decided to enhance Herzog's presidential security," the website added.
Demonstrations continue in Bahrain rejecting the visit of the Israeli occupation president Isaac Herzog in response to an invitation he received from King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

The demonstrators raised the Bahraini and Palestinian flags and chanted slogans condemning Herzog's visit and normalization with the Israeli occupation, amid strict security measures imposed by the Bahraini police and security forces.
Top Bahraini cleric Sheikh Issa Qassim decried “Normalization is treason of the (Palestinian) cause and the (Arab) nation”, rejecting Lapid's desecration of Bahrain's land."
In a tweet on his account, Sheikh Qassim rejected "the head of the Zionist entity's desecration of the land of faith and dignity."

Earlier, Bahraini Al-Wefaq Society called for active participation in an electronic demonstration coinciding with the visit of the Israeli President, while the political society affirmed that the position of the Bahraini people is firm in advocating the Palestinian cause and rejecting the accelerated normalization steps with "Tel Aviv".
In mid-November, Israeli media reported that Herzog will be the first Israeli occupation President to visit Bahrain in response to an invitation he received from King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
According to Israeli Channel 13, "Herzog will go to Bahrain on December 4 and will hold meetings with the king, senior officials in the kingdom, and members of the Jewish community," adding that the Israeli President's office "stated that the leaders will discuss strengthening relations and expanding cooperation."
Herzog's visit to the UAE and Bahrain comes more than two years after the two sides normalized relations within the framework of the normalization accords under the auspices of the United States.
