Israeli massacres in Gaza Strip continue as strikes in north intensify
The Israeli occupation continues its aggression on the Gaza Strip, intensifying airstrikes in the central and northern areas, resulting in an increased number of martyrs.
Thirteen Palestinians were martyred and others injured tonight due to Israeli occupation aircraft targeting homes in the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza.
Medical sources reported that 13 individuals, mostly women and children, were killed, and dozens were injured, with several still missing following the bombing of two houses in the camp.
Palestinian media outlets also reported that six individuals were martyred and several others injured in an Israeli airstrike on Al-Shuja'iyya Boys School, which is housing displaced people in the Al-Tuffah neighborhood east of Gaza City.
The death toll in Gaza has now risen to 41,615, the majority being women and children, while injuries total 96,359 since the start of the Israeli aggression on October 7, 2023. Thousands of Palestinians remain trapped under rubble and in the streets, as the occupation prevents emergency and civil defense teams from reaching them.
Significantly, the United Nations reports that 66% of buildings in Gaza have sustained damage.
This comes as a recent update from the UN Satellite Center indicated that this analysis is based on high-resolution satellite images collected on September 3 and 6, with the most affected area being the Gaza governorate.
