Israeli military raids cities, towns all over the West Bank
In the context of the wide-scale raids on the West Bank, Israeli forces have detained the wife of a Palestinian man to pressure him to turn himself in.
The Israeli occupation carried out, on Tuesday night through Wednesday dawn, wide-scale raids in the occupied West Bank.
Sources told Al Mayadeen that the occupation forces raided the town of Beit Ummar north of al-Khalil in the occupied West Bank. Palestinian media outlets also announced that a young man was injured by Israeli occupation forces' gunfire during their invasion of the town of Tammun, further to the north.
The Israeli occupation forces also invaded the eastern town of al-Luban al-Sharkiya to the south of Nablus, the village of Salem east of Nablus, in addition to the town of Sair north of al-Khalil, and the town of Nabi Saleh west of Ramallah.
The occupation forces also raided the town of Beit Fajjar south of Beit Lahm Wednesday morning, as well as the suburbs of Aktaba and Shuweika in the city of Tulkarm in the western West Bank, and the city of Tubas.
In Tubas, occupation forces detained Hani Bani Awdah's wife. The occupation forces took the measure to force Hani to turn himself in. The arbitrary detainment of the family members of Palestinians, whom occupation forces are after, has become a common practice of the occupation, which takes every opportunity possible to harass Palestinians.
Occupation forces also arrested the young man Hussam Ghaith from the Kfar Aqab neighborhood north of occupied al-Quds.
However, Palestinian Resistance fighters confronted Israeli occupation forces in several areas, all over the West Bank, including Tammun, Nablus, and Jenin. In Beit Lahm, Resistance fighters detonated a locally produced improvised explosive device, targeting the invading forces.
The occupation's raids followed wide-scale incursions into Palestinian towns and cities in the occupied West Bank, which took place from Monday overnight into Tuesday morning. These tactics have been employed by the occupation on a near-daily basis, as it attempts to suppress the support of Palestinians in the West Bank, to their countrymen in the Gaza Strip.
In Jenin and Tulkarm, raids turned into wide-scale incursions, which have seen the destruction of the cities' infrastructure and the execution of tens of Palestinians. The occupation has also resorted to drone strikes in these areas, targeting civilians, shops, and homes in Tulkarm and Jenin.
In conjunction with its genocidal war in the Gaza Strip, which goes into its 75th day, the occupation has detained at least 4,605 people in the West Bank and killed more than 300 Palestinians.
