Israeli occupation retreats from northern Hamad under Resistance fire
Inflicting losses in both materials and life, the Palestinian Resistance forced the Israeli occupation forces to withdraw from Hamad City, south of the Gaza Strip.
The Palestinian Resistance in the Gaza Strip persists in repelling Israeli occupation forces, which have so far sustained significant losses in both equipment and lives, with the death toll of Israeli occupation soldiers reaching 590 since the onset of the war, according to the underreported Israeli numbers.
Al Mayadeen's correspondent in Gaza reported, on Saturday, that Israeli occupation forces are withdrawing from the northern part of Hamad city in Khan Younis, located in the southern part of the Gaza Strip, under artillery cover. This withdrawal occurred amidst the intensified confrontations led by the Resistance against the Israeli occupation forces on the 162nd day of aggression.
Additionally, our correspondent highlighted that the Resistance is conducting fierce confrontations with occupation forces in the cities of Zahraa and Maghraqa in central Gaza.
Battles in Khan Younis and al-Zahraa are at their peak
During the ongoing confrontations with the occupation forces as part of the Operation Al-Aqsa Flood, the Martyr Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Hamas movement, confirmed that its fighters targeted an Israeli troop carrier using a Shawaz armor-piercing explosive device, and its vicinity with a TBG shell, in Hamad Town, located north of the city of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip.
In the same area, the al-Qassam Brigades' Resistance fighters also targeted an Israeli troop carrier and a Merkava tank, using an Al-Yassin 105 anti-tank grenade and Tandem charges.
In turn, the al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad movement, launched missile salvos targeting the "Sderot" settlement and other settlements in the Gaza envelope area at nine o'clock. Israeli media confirmed that sirens were activated in the envelope area at that time.
Additionally, the al-Quds Brigades confirmed that it targeted several Israeli military vehicles north of al-Zahraa city in the central region using anti-tank missiles. The strikes caused casualties among Israeli occupation forces, with members killed and wounded during confrontations with the resistance fighters.
The National Resistance Brigades, the military wing of the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine, targeted a gathering of occupation army vehicles northeast of Juhor al-Dik with short-range missiles.
